Inspired by the beauty of the Ottawa region and anywhere where sky and water meet, Cara explores light and shadow using acrylics on canvas. Cara is a proud member of the Kanata Civic Art Gallery, the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Manotick Art Association and ArtEast Ottawa. Cara has been a part of the Glebe Fine Arts Show in Ottawa for many years, and was recently represented by the Artprior Gallery prior to its closure in May 2022. Cara has exhibited at the Buckhorn Fine Arts Festival, and several outdoor art events in and around Ottawa and the Bancroft, Ontario area. Cara recently retired from the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board where she taught full-time for over 32 years bringing the Arts to her students.
