Vic gets his inspiration from the outdoors in forests and on rivers, looking at fields and barns, or getting close with flora and fauna. He captures these moments in his watercolours.
As a self-taught artist, his journey with this medium is continuously evolving, honing his skills with every layer of paint and shape defined by his brushes. By studying and learning about the expressive nature of this creative medium, he has developed his own approach and style.
Vic has over 20 years of watercolour experience, has given lectures and workshops on various topics, and teaches watercolour painting. He is an active member with several regional art organizations, including a Fellow with the Ottawa Watercolour Society.
